TokyoLiterally translating to "Eastern Capital", Tokyo is the capital of Japan. A highly urbanized and active city. Also the home to U.A. High's Asian branch.

KyotoLarge, but far less urbanized than the other large cities in Japan. Kyoto is a popular tourist trap and destination for school trips. The city revels in its history and it shows, with many of the buildings dating back centuries.

OsakaIf Tokyo embraces the future and Kyoto embraces the past, Osaka is somewhere in the middle. A popular stereotype for people from Osaka is the mantle of "county bumpkin" despite the size of the city.

YokohamaThe second largest city in Japan and home to a thriving Chinese population and a fairly large Chinatown district. Not as popular as Tokyo or Kyoto, but Yokohama is still just as worthy of praise.
